Matthew Till has earned his third Emmy nomination from the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This year's nomination is in category 25c for "Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence Off Camera: Writing - Non News". The nominated project is a composite reel of on-air promos entitled Super Sonic Sunday for WMEU-TV Chicago, "Me-Too". The Emmy Awards will be held in Chicago on October 18th.
The Emmy Award winning PSA Campaign, Snapshots of Black History, was honored nationally with a 2008 Telly Award. It's Black History Month counterpart, Tuning Points in Black History, was also honored with a 2008 Telly Award. This makes for a total of three statue honors for the producing team Matthew Till, George Blaise and Sean Long. Tuning Points in Black History was a PSA campaign which aired on Chicago's "Me-TV" (WWME-TV) throughout the month of February, 2007.
Matthew Till has earned highest honors in Chicago broadcast television with his first Emmy Award given by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. His teamwork as a producer, along with George Blaise and Sean Long, brought recognition to WCIU-TV in category 15 for "Outstanding Achievement for a Public Service Announcement Campaign". The award winning project, Snapshots of Black History, was aired on WCIU-TV throughout the month of February in honor of Black History Month. View It!
